and her 10 month old baby boy, LJ. Nikki explains this special photo shoot she created, "My husband has been in the Marine Corps for 7.5 years and will be moving on to something different very soon. I have taken pictures of many other military families, but always dreamed of getting a shot of my own little boy with his Daddy in cammies. This uniform means so much to us and probably many other families. It stands for so much. I saw these cammies get on a ship when I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter, then saw them get off a plane when my daughter was just 2 months old. I waved goodbye to them while they got on a bus 10 months later and wrapped my arms around them as they stepped off a bus later that year. It has been a crazy journey with the Marine Corps and one that we will remember forever. Our son was not born for most of this chapter in our lives and he won't remember it when he is older, but these images will bring us all back to this special time in our lives and I will cherish them forever." Thank you Nikki for sharing your photos, I know you will cherish them. Also thank you to your husband and to you and your family for being part of the Marine Corps, sacrificing, and supporting the military. These photos are precious!!
