Today is my birthday!! For today's special day I have Diane L. Dodd back with more wedding photos if you missed her other wedding click here. This elopement is also very fun and similar to the other elopement I shared before since the bride is wearing a short dress and super cute shoes! Don't you just love her red shoes!!? Also Lafayette Square in Savannah has this pretty fountain, such a nice place to have their ceremony.
Here is a little more about their elopement "After getting engaged in October of 2011, Brandon and
Rachel began the wedding planning process at home in Macon, Georgia. After
looking at venue spaces, considering cake options and making lists of guests to
invite, they were overwhelmed. The details to plan and the expense associated
with the wedding didn't fit with the couple's style and rather than plan a party
for friends and family, they decided to plan a party for themselves and planned
an elopement to Savannah, GA where they have spent many a weekend during the
past 3 years. While the word elopement may have raised some eyebrows, the couple
enjoyed a traditional ceremony, champagne, dinner and cake -- just without the
guests. They enjoyed every minute of their elopement and felt that it focused
the wedding on their love for one another, and their love for Savannah." Wedding planning can be very stressful and sometimes it's not the best fit for every couple. I totally think that eloping is the best route for some. My husband and I had a very small wedding with only a handful of people and I too wore a tea length dress, wanna see my wedding click here. Thank you Brandon, Rachel and Diane for sharing your intimate elopement.
